been wanting to try their omakase's since they were doing a promo on instagram and was popping up everywhere. very very good omakase, with a wide variety of fish. big downside is that the chef was speeeeding through our meal, almost rushing which i didn't appreciate since omakase is an intimate meal with a small group of people and a chef. we were in and out in 30 mins ! its like an assembly line, they do not have like group reservations like other omakases. music is unbearably loud. chef was rushing us out and started prepping for the next round of people immediately as we saud we didnt want to order any add ons. i'd say closer to 3.5/5

No bou-sh&t, this is an amazing sushi experience! The place is small, only seats 8, although they managed to get a 9th when we were there. There's a bar in the corner but no real room to stand there. The tasting is 45 mins long (although there is a 90 min version). Our omakase menu: Hamachi (yellowtail) Akami (lean tuna) Botan ebi (spotted prawn) Ikura (salmon roe) Bincho (albacore) Maguro (chopped tuna) Hotate (scallop) Gindara (miso cod) Toro (fatty tuna) Sake (salmon) Wagyuni (surf and turf) Unagi (BBQ eel) We added the Big Mac (wagyu, toro, uni, scallop). Everything was quite good but the standouts were albacore, scallop, miso cod, and salmon. So good that we wanted to revisit them all. The Big Mac is a burst of flavors -- definitely get it if you still can eat. Sapporo on draft and a good selection of sake. Our sushi chef was Brian. He's a skilled artist and happily chatted about the fish. If you like sushi with a bit of an edge, this is your place.

Found this place on Yelp on a late night after a Broadway show. They're literally on a small flight of stairs going down. The folks that run the place are very kind, provided excellent service, and funny too! The sushi was amazing but a bit different from how we do things here on the west coast, which is okonomi, some things I could have skipped. I wish they offered soy sauce as well (I didn't want to ask as to be seen as rude). They sushi bar is very intimate and the music is old skool hip hop, which was great being a gen Xers! I would highly recommend.

Great vibes and an extremely efficient and well priced omakase service. Highlights were: miso cod, fatty tuna and unagi. 12-piece omakase is served within 30 minutes.
